“Terminator 2: Judgment Day” was a huge success in cinemas worldwide and, like its predecessor, represented a true milestone in terms of special effects. Creating the scenes featuring the dreaded T-1000 required a team of more than 35 people, 10 months of work, and over 5 million dollars. The results of the film’s special effects team marked a significant technological advancement in the film industry, as “Terminator 2” was one of the first movies to make extensive use of computer-generated imagery (CGI).
