REIMAGINING THE MAD DOCTORS EXHIBITION + CHARITY AUCTION

The festival presents once again a collective exhibition created by various Galician and national artists from illustration and comics, focused on the mad doctors who star in some of the special screenings of this edition, from the iconic Frank ‘N’ Furter from The Rocky Horror Picture Show, through the unmistakable Frederick Fronkonstin from Young Frankenstein, to the disturbing Herbert West from Re-Animator.
This exhibition presents a personal and artistic reinterpretation of these iconic characters from science fiction and pop culture, offering a diverse look at the styles and talents of illustration and comics within our creative community.
The exhibition will feature works by: Anxel con X, Dani Docampo, Diego Artegrotesko, Hugo Rg., Irika e Davida, MA., Maroto Bambinomonkey, Miguel Porto, Norberto Fernández, O Taller Máxico, Paulo Mosca, Sr. Sagüillo, Toni Benages i Gallard, Xabier Alonso, and Velvet Demon.
The exhibition can be visited free of charge at the Apos’trophe.arte gallery, in the Plaza Elíptica Shopping Center, between September 19 and 27.
CHARITY AUCTION

On the last day of the festival, a charity auction of the artworks will be held in favor of the Association of Relatives of Alzheimer’s Patients and Other Dementias of Galicia (AFAGA Alzheimer).
AFAGA’s mission is to defend the rights of people with Alzheimer’s or other neurodegenerative dementia and their families, providing specialized and preventive services, as well as developing social awareness activities.
